I’m Saurabh Sharma. I build products from zero to one, from London.

I started out at Google in Gurgaon, where I led the integration of Wikipedia search into Blogger — a project that reached thousands of blogs and millions of readers, and earned me an Exceptional Performance Award. Alongside it I built internal tools: a review analysis app, a sales quota-setting app, and a Chrome extension used for security testing of ads.

After Google I joined Cargobase as the third engineer, helping build and scale a B2B SaaS logistics platform used by enterprise customers including Dell and Continental, working directly with founders in Singapore and Amsterdam. Then came four years at Grab in Singapore, where I built an invoicing platform for finance teams in Thailand and Indonesia, led a centralised data warehouse for financial reconciliation and fraud detection in the run-up to the IPO, and shipped internal platforms processing millions of rows a month.

In 2021 I co-founded Championfy and served as CTO. I designed and built the platform end to end — architecture, database, backend APIs, admin portal and cross-platform mobile apps — and grew a team of ten across Singapore, Malaysia and India. We reached 200k+ players and 20M+ gaming sessions across Southeast Asia, integrated our B2B gaming engine with 10+ partners, and were acquired by Ampverse in 2023. I spent the following year consulting: interim CTO at UEFN AI building infrastructure for autonomous AI agents in games, and engineering leadership at Jelly and Ampverse.

Today I’m the founding engineer at Havenwise in London. I consolidated a sprawl of cloud functions into a proper backend API platform, built the mobile app from scratch in Expo to replace a no-code product, shipped the payments workflow that took us to 70% paid users, and built an MCP integration with Intercom’s Fin AI to help diagnose heat pump faults. Right now I’m building Havenwise AI, a conversational way for people to understand and control their heating.

I hold an Executive MBA in Technology Management from DMS, IIT Delhi and a B.Tech in Computer Science from GGSIPU, and I’m an AWS Certified Developer and Microsoft Certified Azure AI Engineer.
