Senior Software Engineer

Cargobase builds software for freight procurement — the systems large manufacturers use to source and manage shipments. I joined as the third engineer, at the point where the product had customers but not yet the shape it needed to keep them.

Building for enterprise from a small team

I helped build and scale the B2B SaaS platform for enterprise customers including Dell and Continental. Selling logistics software to companies that size means the constraints arrive before the headcount does: their integration requirements, their audit expectations and their procurement processes all had to be met by a team you could count on one hand.

Working across three time zones

I worked closely with the founders across Singapore and Amsterdam from Delhi, designing and delivering product capabilities aligned to what enterprise integration actually demanded rather than what was quickest to ship. Being the engineering end of a distributed founding team is where I learned to write down decisions — with that much distance between the people making them, anything undocumented simply doesn't survive.
